We all have our views and political opinions. This class website is not the proper forum for expressing those opinions However, I believe we are all sick of the negative ads we see during an election season and have no idea what or whom to believe.
The people who are contributing to this website are Factcheck.org, The Washington Post fact checkers, Politifact, and The National Press Club Journalism Institute. If an ad gets it wrong, or stretches the truth, here is the place to find out about it. Let's become informed voters so we can make the best decisions no matter on what side of the aisle we find ourselves.

As you know, we are extremely proud to continue honoring the memory of our two Vietnam War heroes James Prommersberger and Charles Brown who were awarded the Silver Star for bravery post-humously. A scholarship fund has been established to be awarded yearly to one deserving Fitch graduate.
We are seeking donations for this fund to continue the Prommersberger/Brown legacy and to assist the winning student with some of the expenses a college education can bring. We hope to award a scholarship to one deserving student each year.
A contribution of just $5, or $10 would go a long way to help in replenishing the fund, may be tax deductable.and you can contribute as often as you like.
Please make your check payable to Austintown Local Schools and send it to:
Austintown Schools, 700 S. Racoon Rd, Youngstown, Ohio 44515.
Att. Ms. Barbara Kliner
Be sure to write "J. Prommersberger/Chas Brown Scholarship" in the memo section of the check.
A receipt will be sent to you to file with your tax returns.
